| Tiny Tots Hr Sec School celebrates World Earth Day | | |  Jammu, Apr 22: Continuing its endevour to create awareness among students about their role in conserving Planet Earth, the Tiny Tots Hr Sec School today organized an Inter-School and Inter-College Poster Making competition to mark World Earth Day in school premises.
Participants gave life to their idea regarding the theme 'Save Mother Earth' on the canvass and a panel of adjudicator and Guest of Honor for the competition Dr O P Sharma (Vidyarthi) , Chief Conservator Forests, Eco-tourism, wild life protection Department, Jammu and Kashmir and Mrs Gurpreet Handa Director Handa College of Education who also was Guest of Honor aadjudged the performance of participants. During the Inter School Competition the First Prize was jointly shared by Ankit Bhasin from Model Academy and Suneha Manhas From Tiny Tots HSS, Sainik Colony while second Prize went to Ekta Kumari of Tiny Tots HSS Roop Nagar and Diksha Dogra of Tiny Tots HSS Residency Road whereas third Prize was shared by Kashish Mahajan From wazir Janki Nath Memorial HSS and Ishika from S M Shishu Niketan HSS. Meanwhile consolation prizes were awarded to Sayed Haider from R M Public School, Sanam Tasleem from ASN HSS and Yatin Choudhary from Jodhamal Public School for due encouragement.
Meantime in the Inter College Competition, the first Prize was bagged by Sarika Budhiraja of Handa College, second Prize went to Ankita Tripathi from Handa College of Education while third Prize was won by Vikas Kumar from Adarsh College and the Consolation Prizes was awarded to Zaitoon from B N College of Education. Among others present on the occasion were Mrs Seema Mohan Principal Handa College of Education, Dr Vikram Handa and others faculty members. The occasion concluded with vote of thanks presented by Ms Vippon Preet Kour. |
