Jammu, Apr 22: Recent transfer list of doctors issued by the Health Department has created confusion among the medicos as same doctors have been transferred twice. The "inadvertent" error on the part of the Health Department has left the doctors high and dry. Further, Health department's tall claims of reshuffling of the doctors from urban to rural have also fallen flat as doctors having "VVIP links" have managed to get themselves posted within the radius of one kilometer in Jammu city.
Outraged over the pick and choose policy and laxities on the part of Health Department ,a section of doctors have approached the Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh and sought his intervention.
As per the Govt order No 114-HME of 2015 dated 15.4.2015 issued by the Health and Medical Education Department, 171 doctors have been transferred from their present place of postings but some of them have been transferred twice.
Dr Taruna Gupta whose name figures at serial no. 10 has been transferred from Rajiv Gandhi Hospital and posted at District Hospital (DH), Kathua. Her name has again appeared at S.No 159 in which she has been transferred from EC Talab Tillo and posted at SDH Akhnoor.
Similarly, Dr Rita Kumari whose figures at serial No. 13 stands transferred from Rajiv Gandhi Hospital to Accidental Hospital (AH) Vijaypur. Her name again figures in the list transferred from Evening Clinic (EC) Talab Tillo to Primary Health Centre (PHC) RS Pura.
Further, Dr Abdul Shabir Ghat, Consultant Pediatrician, whose name appears at S.no 16 has been transferred from SDH , Chenani to Government Hospital Sarwal. In another order No. 91 HME of 2015 dated 30.3.2015 he has been shown transferred from Community Health Centre (CHC) Chenani to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Hiranagar at S.No 12.
Besides, lacunae in transfer list Health Department against its tall claim of grass root reshuffling has also taken care of the influential doctors and posted them within the radius of one kilometer of Jammu city . These include Dr Gousia Rahim, daughter of politician, whose name appears at S.no 106 is shown transferred from GMC, Jammu to CD hospital Jammu i.e zero km. Dr Tania Kakkar is transferred from GMC Jammu to Government Hospital Sarwal, Dr Indra Kotwal, at S no 1, is transferred from DHS Jammu to Super Specialty Hospital, Jammu. Dr Bindu, at S no 2, is transferred to CHC Kot Bhalwal from DHS Jammu. Dr Rekha Parihar, at S.No 3, is transferred from DHS Jammu to Govt Hospital Sarwal. Dr Meenu Kumari from DHS Jammu to Govt Hospital Sarwal. Besides this, there are number of doctors who have managed posting within one kilometer radius of their present posting, which has left others fuming. |
