JAMMU, Apr 22: Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, called on N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here today.
During the meeting Prof. Aima briefed the Governor, who is Chancellor of the Central University of Jammu, about various matters relating to the development of the University.
Prof. Aima also informed the Governor about the to-date status of construction of the new campus of the Central University, at Raya Suchani in Samba district; recruitment of faculty and about certain issues relating to the administrative and academic functioning. This was Prof. Aima's first meeting with the Chancellor, after he assumed charge as Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu. |
