| JKEEGA calls on Principal Secretary PDD | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 22: Jammu and Kashmir Electrical Engineering Graduates' Association (JKEEGA) today called upon Principal Secretary PDD, Sandeep Kumar Nayak here at civil secretariat.
According to press release, a delegation of JKEEGA led by its president Er Doulat Ram Bhagat, submitted Charter of demands to the principal secretary regarding various long pending issues faced by the fraternity.
The President along with the delegation members expressed serious concern over main issue of regularisation and its slow pace has created lot of frustration and resentment within the fraternity. The Engineers working as Chief Engineers and Superintending Engineers are retiring as AE's and AEE's due to non regularisation thereby Engineers are losing their zeal and enthusiasm. The delegation drew the attention of Principal Secretary towards the problem faced by Electrical Engineers in respect of post Electrical mishaps/accidents and subsequent harassment met by Officials during the course of investigations. It was requested that before the registration of FIR against the Official the case should be investigated thoroughly, as in most of the cases the mishap occurs due to the negligence of public. The harassment meted by the police Department in most of the cases has created fear and disappointment amongst the cadre. |
