Bikers injured in head on collision

Rajouri, Apr 26: Two bikers were injured when they had a head on collision with a car coming from opposite direction in the vicinity of Rajouri police statitoday.
The youth have been identified as Manjeet Kumar s/o Joginder Lal resident of village Chattiyar and Deepak Singh s/o Ved Parkash resident of Rajouri.
Police said that both the injured were riding a motorcycle bearing registration No JKIIA-8990 and were heading towards Rajouri city when their motor cycle was hit by an i-10 car coming from opposite side. In their statement to police both the injured said that after hitting their motorcycle car owner fled from the spot.
Both the injured were evacuated to the district hospital by the police with the help of people gathered locals and were out of danger.
After lodging a case under sections 279 RPC police has started investigation and launched search to trace the unidentified car driver/owner.
Meanwhile Rajouri police have recovered the body of one Jamila Begam d/o Mohd Maroof resident of UP who died in suspicious circumstances.
