| Yog Sathapana divas celebrated by BYS | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 26: Bhartya Yog Sansthan Jammu and Kashmir celebrated 49th Yog Sathapana Divas at Green Belt Park Channi Himmat, Jammu. All Yog centres under district Bahu participated in combined Yog Sadhna.
According to press release, BYS is in the service of humanity for the last 49 years providing the services to the masses free of cost. Starting the journey from 1967 BYS has over 110 centres in J&K and over 2450 centres in India and all over the world. Patron member J&K State Region Baldev Raj Gupta, V K Soni Secretary J&K State Region and district resident Dinesh Nayar shared the dais with Chief Guest.
V K Soni Region Secretary explained the efforts of the BYS about the promotion of Yog in the State of Jammu & Kashmir and also revealed the preparation of the Sansthan for celebration of International Yog day on 21st June. Chief Guest Sojanaya Sharma said that Yog has its origin from ancient Indian Culture and the same has also been adopted all over the world. He also described the importance of YOG and praised the efforts of BYS in the field of Yoga. He also assured full support from Muncipal Corporation regarding celebration of International Yog day on 21st June. |
