| Veeri visits Shahdra Sharief Ziarat at Rajouri | | |  Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Apr 26: Minister for Horticulture, Haj & Auqaf, Abdul Rehman Veeri visited the Ziarat of Shahdra Sharief Rajouri and prayed for the prosperity, peace and development of the state.
Veeri also took stock of the developmental works and other facilities being provided to the devotees.
During his visit, the minister directed Auqaf Department Shahdra Sharief Rajouri for the early completion of all the ongoing beautification works of the shrine including expansion of Jamia Majid Shahdra Sharief Rajouri and up-liftment of Shahdra Masjid.
Minister also directed for identification of Land/building for the opening of Modern school nearby Shahdra Sharief Rajouri.
Employees of Auqaf raised the issue of providing uniforms to the Auqaf Department. Minister directed the concerned officers to prepare and forward him a detailed proposal to achieve the same.
Various deputations under the chairmanship of local MLA Choudhary Qamar Hussain met the Minister and presented various demands of public importance. Minister assured them that the equitable development of all regions is in the common minimum Programme of the coalition government.
Later, the Minister also visited the Shrine Panj Peer Masjid Rajouri and took stock of the facilities there.
The Minister also approved Rs 55 lakh for the beautification work of the Ziarat and directed the concerned authority to speed up the same immediately. He was accompanied by Chief Executive Councilor, Abdul Sattar and other senior officers. |
