SEECC submits memorandum to DSE | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Apr 26: A delegation of School Education Officers /Lecturers and teachers Co-ordination Committee led by its Provincial President Amar Nath Thakur submitted memorandum of demands through Director School Education Jammu Simrandeep Singh. The memorandum included regularization of all incharge officers and lecturers under SRO 481 of 2010, Seniority benefit to all lecturers at par with their juniors, creation of human resource management cell (HRM) in the department for timely regularization of all cadres, implementation of rational transparent transfer policy free from political interference, principals of higher sec schools allowed for academic monitoring of feeding schools and confirmation of results upto class 9th, banning mass promotion policy to provide quality education and discourage quantity education, starting LKG and KG Classes in Govt. schools , filling all vacant posts of Principals, headmasters, Lecturers, teachers, and Non teaching staff. No KAS officer be appointed as Joint Director in education Deptt, reorganization of Deptt by creating two Directors for primary and secondary schools and one Director General as Controlling authority, releasing salary grants of teachers working under SSA, RMSA, KGVB, NPS and plan schemes , transfer policy for RET within zone, providing timely text books to students, release of MDM grants to clear the liabilities for the year 2014-15 and handing over MDM to NGO's , Constitution of state level and district level enquiry teams to enquire the opening of all NPS Schools under SSA since 2003 as most of the schools have been closed and teachers are posted with no work, running grade to +2 lecturers and restoring 40% recruitment quota in colleges. |
