| Pawan Gupta inaugurates Panchayat Ghar | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Apr 26: Minister of State for Finance and Information Technology, Pawan Gupta inaugurated newly constructed Panchayat ghar with an approx cost of 20 lakhs at Neeli nallah, Jib, Udhampur here today.
The programme was organized by Rural Development department Udhampur and Panchayat ghar was constructed by the RDD . While addressing the people, Minister congratulated the people of the area and the Rural Department Udhampur for the Panchayat ghar. He further added that development of roads in the rural areas and providing basic facilities to all the people of the area , is his first priority as good road network play an important role for the upliftment of the people of the area economically .
He further said that the Govt is committed to upgrade the quality of education, medicare, power, clean water etc. in the district especially in the far flung and remote areas.
Among others, BDO Udhampur, staff of Rural development department Udhampur, senior officers of various departments, prominent citizens, Sarpanches, Panches and a large gathering were also present on the occasion. |
