ARTO challans 85 vehicles, realizes Rs 1.10 lakh as fine 6/6/2015 11:34:49 PM Early Times Report REASI, June 6: During a daylong special drive against traffic violations on Katra-Domail road, the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Reasi penalized 85 vehicles plying on various routes for different traffic violations and collected a fine of Rs 1.10 lakh from violators. During the drive, ARTO Reasi Mohammad Saleem was accompanied by MVD Inspector Vikas Shrivats and other staff of ARTO, Reasi. As many as 85 vehicles including 2x2 Buses, All India Route Permit buses, mini buses and auto rickshaws were compounded/challaned for traffic violations. ARTO Reasi also issued stern warning to the drivers of passenger vehicles for not observing the traffic rules and asked them to strictly adhere to the traffic rules to avoid any action from the department.
