Protest against basic amenities in Latti 6/6/2015 11:35:19 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, June 6: locals from village Panchound of Latti of Udhampur district today staged a protest against poor facilities in education and health sector besides irregular supply of CA&PD ration by concerned department. The protesters alleged that Government High School Panchound has 300, student but the staff posted is just three which is resulting in poor academic performance of students. Not only the students teacher ratio 100::1, the school also sans the basic infrastructure including proper sitting arrangement. They also said that that the Panchound Sub Centre is without doctor while ration supply by CA&PD Department is irregular as the people have not received ration for last five months. On receiving information, the Sushil Kumar Tehsildar Latti immediately rushed to spot and assured the protestors to take up their demands to concerned quarters.
