| BSF constable found hanging mysteriously | | |

Jammu, June 6: A constable of Border Security Force (BSF) today was found hanging under mysterious circumstances in his quarter in Akhnoor of Jammu district. Police have registered a case and further investigation is on.
"The deceased has been identified as Yoginder Singh s/o Hari Singh of Madhya Pradesh (MP) presently posted in Karangi in Akhnoor, police sources said.
They said that his family members were out of the quarter and when they returned back they found Yoginder hanging from hook of a ceiling fan and immediately informed the BSF officials besides shifted the man to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Akhnoor where he was declared as brought dead.
Meanwhile after getting postmortem conducted upon body, the police handed over the body to family members for last rites.
A case in this connection stands registered with concerned police while further investigations are on. |
