Govt to provide basic amenities to people soon: MLA | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, June 6: Jammu and Kashmir Government will soon address the problems being faced by people due to lack of basic amenities like power, drinking water supply and road connectivity, said MLA Kathua. MLA Kathua Rajeev Jasrotia said this while was talking to media in his Public Grievances Cell here today wherein he takes stock of the grievances of people of his constituency from every Thursday to Saturday. He said that government would soon provide Rs 60 crores for development in Kathua that would be utilized in beautification of Dream Park, augmenting power and water supply besides renovation of roads. He said everything does not require funds; many other problems can be solved by resources available. He said 15-20 Water supply stations have been identified which are out of order but government will restore such stations including blocked Tube wells in Kathua Constituency. He informed that government has provided 8 to 10 water pumps to PHE department to check scarcity of water supply in Kathua. MLA ensured to provide new transformers in identified areas for providing regular power supply. |
