Geelani's Hurriyat slams Naeem Akhtar
6/7/2015 12:20:35 AM
Srinagar, June 6: The Hurriyat Conference led by hardliner Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Saturday slammed the Education Minister Naeem Akhtar over what it called," the mass transfers of female teachers of education department in Kashmir" alleging its a "well planned conspiracy."
In a statement, a spokesman of the Hurriyat faction headed by Geelani said: "There are reports in Kashmir that female teachers in Education department are being transferred to far off places and the amalgam has taken serious note of it."
"Reports are coming about the transfers of female teachers to the far off places and inaccessible places and such steps are nothing but a conspiracy to perturb the women further. Already the hardships being faced by the women folk are in-numerous and this new trend initiated by Akhtar has only vindicated the new policy of this government against people," the spokesman added.
