BJP, RSS lobbies lock horns over Sharma's PRO 6/16/2015 11:57:43 PM Asif Iqbal Naik ET Report Kishtwar, June 16: The Bharatiya Janata Party and RSS leaders in this frontier district have been locking horns with each other for the past three months over the appointment of the Public Relations Officer (PRO)of Minister of State for Revenue ad Roads and Buildings, Sunil Kumar Sharma. Sources told Early Times that infighting amongst the party workers in Kishtwar delayed the appointment. "The RSS lobby wants its own candidate on the post while the BJP activists want their own man to hold the coveted position, and both the parties have proposed the names of different candidates," they added. Sources said that BJP lobby is supporting the appointment of Sanjay Kumar as PRO with Sharma while RSS is supporting the appointment of Surjeet Kumar, both working as teachers in Education Department Kishtwar. At the end of the day, sources said, the minister surrendered before the will of RSS and may consider the appointment of Surjeet Kumar as his PRO. The sources, however close to the BJP Minister though confirmed the latest development regarding the appointment row of PRO, but added that however the final call in this regard would be taken only after taking all stakeholders on board and in this regard the Minister is likely to convene a joint meeting of both groups during his visit to Kishtwar.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
