Ex Servicemen demand 'one rank- one pension' 6/17/2015 12:00:45 AM Early Times Report banihal, June 16: Retired Army Men and Ex Service Men whose services have attained superannuation before 2006 today in a meeting held in Banihal of Ramban District reiterated their demand of 'one rank- one pension'. During today's meeting the members demanded from central government to give them the benefits which are accorded to the Jawans who retired after 2006. "These army jawns from Banihal alleged that there is a huge difference of seven to eight thousand rupees between the pension of the two sections. They also said that these jawans have play a good role during 1961.1971 and in Kargil War but government is not giving the similar wage effect with those who retired after 2006. They also decided they will even stage a protest at Janter Manter at Delhi if center Government fails to full fill their demands.
