10 days children theatre workshop organized 6/17/2015 12:06:30 AM Early Times Report Jammu, June 16: A 10 days theatre workshop for the wards of the employees of University of Jammu was inaugurated today at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. The workshop was inaugurated by the Registrar, University of Jammu Prof Manoj K. Dhar by lighting of traditional lamp in the presence of Prof. Parmeshwari Sharma, Chairperson, Campus Cultural Committee, Dr. Anupama Vohra, Associate Dean Students Welfare and the parents of participating children. Around 60 children are participating in the workshop and it is a first of its kind event organized by the Department of Students welfare and the workshop is being conducted by Ifra kak, Cultural officer and Sumeet Sharma, Drama Instructor University of Jammu. Prof Dhar in his address appreciated the efforts made by Department of students welfare and congratulated Prof. Pankaj K. Srivastava, Dean Students Welfare and the department for organizing such activity for the children in University of Jammu especially for the children of the employees of University. Prof Dhar also congratulated and encouraged all the participants. Earlier the welcome address was delivered by Dr Anupama Vohra, Associate Dean (SW).
