SOG cop who shot alleged narco smuggler attempts suicide 6/22/2015 11:51:34 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 22: Accused constable who reportedly shot dead a suspect in narcotics smuggler today tried to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at SOG office below Gummat. Police sources said that Gandhar Singh (26) son of Gurcharan Singh of Arnia today consumed toilet cleaner (harpic) and fell unconscious. He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H). Police sources said that the condition of Gandhar Singh was stated to be stable. He was arrested in a case under FIR 195/15 under section 302 of RPC registered at Domana police station. If sources are to be believed Gandhar Singh was not arrested by the police and was taken to SOG office Gummat on the pretext of questioning where he took such an extreme step.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
