Early Times Report
Kishtwar, July 4: A 28-year-old teacher from Kishtwar who was recently recruited today faced victimization after some mischievous elements circulated a poorly drafted application attributing to him for adjustment against a vacant post at higher secondary school Kishtwar. The application was circulated on the name of Mudassir Akbar Sheikh, a general line teacher in the Education department hailing from Palmar area of Kishtwar. The application which is addressed to headmaster middle school Palmar pleads for his adjustment against the vacant post of Botany subject at HSS Boys Kishtwar. The so-called application is forwarded by 'headmaster' of the non-existing school to Chief Education Officer Kishtwar with remarks that "Kindly read his application which is non-sense and raping of the English language, suspend him with immediate effect." After scrutinizing the application, it becomes clear that both handwriting of the applicant as well as that of the headmaster are same and someone has done a prank with the teacher who received many calls when the 'application' was circulated on social media. While talking to Early Times, Mudassir said the incident came as a shock to him. He said he holds M Phil in Economics from Barkatullah University and B.Ed from Jammu university. He is also two-time gold medalist in his subject. Mudassir said that some mischievous elements played a prank with him and circulated the fake application on his name with Botany subject mentioned in it. He said there is no government middle school in Palmar. He said that he was popular in his area and everyone knows him. Meanwhile, Mudassir moved an application before Kishtwar police demanding registration of an FIR against the culprit involved in defaming his name by circulating poorly drafted application. When contacted officials of Education department denied receiving any application from any school falling in Palmar area of Kishtwar and confirmed that some mischievous elements had played a prank with the said teacher. |
