USC releases election manifesto | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 4 : Jammu and Kashmir United Sikh Council today released the election manifesto of the council in connection with ensuing election of Gurdwara Parbhandhak Committee which will held on July 8, 2015. According to press release, council chairman Kuldeep Singh has fielded its five candidates in Jammu namely Makhan Singh from digiana, Balbir Singh from Gadigarh, Harpal Singh Palli from Nanak Nagar, Amarjit Singh from Marh constituency and Nirmal Singh from Gandhi Nagar. Singh further said that USC is dedicated to serve the community on the principles of basic sikh tenets keeping in mind the principle of Guru Granth and Guru Panth being prime for every follower of the sikh faith. "USC has a definite programme for implementation of nanak Shahi calendar 2003 to bring amendements in gurdwara act for the height of sikh community, fight for minority status to the community, to fight for legitimate right of Sikhs over 33 percent land in the name of Khalsa Sarkar in revenue records of the state to forge unity in all sections of the community to come together under one Guru Granth andGuru Panth, to impart religious education including Punjabi to Children with new technology, to bring parity to religious sewadars of Gurdwars including granthis and raagis. Ajeetpal Singh, Mohinder Singh, Nirmal Singh, Harpal Singh and Ravinder singh were also present on the occasion. |
