| Digital India week observed | | | Early Times Report
Reasi, July 4: As part of launching Digital Indian Week (DIW) District Administration, Reasi also joined hands in this latest programme of the Government of India.
Awareness workshop on various e-services provided by the Central Government as well as state Government was conducted at mini secretariat here today under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Reasi-Sushma Chauhan.
The celebrations were however not limited to the headquater but also all subdivisions of district. At Katra Digital India week long celebration began under the supervision of SDM Katra-Anil Chandail and Tehsildar Katra-Kavita Pandoh.
The main attration was the Special Aadhar Enrollment camp, which will be from 8am to 8pm during the week and also special National Electoral Roll Purification and Authentication Programme (NERPAP) camp was also set side by side. Similar camps were also set at Arnas under the supervision of SDM Dharmari-Naresh Sharma, at Mahore and at Vijaypur, Reasi.
The special camp organized as a part of Digital India Week Celebrations evoked overwhelming response; this was stated by DC Reasi while talking to media.
She added the weeklong celebration includes awareness programme for all the PRI members, officers and staff of the various departments and debater/symposium competition at school levels in order to educate and create awareness on the initiatives taken by the central government to make India go truly digital. |
