Investiture ceremony oranised 8/1/2015 10:58:43 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 1: The much awaited programme of Investiture Ceremony of AP School Rakhmuthi for the academic year 2015-16 was unveiled on Saturday. According to press release, the school choir enthralled the audience with soulful rendition of the AWES song which was followed by dance performance by the students. The event was presided over by Chairman AP School Rakhmuthiand Shaswati Ghosh-Principal A P School Rakhmuthi. The oath taking ceremony was led by Rohit Singh (Head boy) and Kirti Devi (Head girl). Sharuv Sharma and Rubiya Rajput were appointed as Vice Head boy and Vice Head girl. Taking the oath, the Head girl and Head boy, the house Captains and the Prefects pledged their commitment to choose 'harder right, instead of the easier wrong'. The Investiture Ceremony was solemnized with the Chief Guest conferring the authority and adorning the symbols to the office bearers in a formal ceremony. Chief Guest in his motivational speech urged newly appointed office-bearers to have a clear conscience while delineating their duties. He emphasized the pressing need to uphold the school motto. With these responsibilities placed on their firm shoulders, the newly appointed office-bearers solemnly vowed to act as role models for the rest of the school to emulate. The momentous ceremony ended with formal vote of thanks by the school Principal.
