VIJAYPUR, Aug 1 : New Sargam Social & Culture Club (NSSCC) Vijaypur organized a musical tribute to the legendry singer Mohammad Rafi on his 35th death anniversary at Vaid Higher Secondary School, Vijaypur. Along with club artists and members, a large number of music lovers were present in this programme.
ADC Samba Pawan Sharma was the chief guest while SDM Vijaypur was the guest of honour on the occasion.
During the programme, singers Rajender and Ajit Singh sang popular duet 'Hum Premi Prem Karna Jane' while several others including Rakesh Chowdhry, Soudagar Gupta, Jang Bahadur, Ashok Gupta, Bishan Singh Dardi, Bishan Das also performed.
On the occasion, rich tributes were paid to former president of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. |
