| BBIA criticizes govt for unscheduled power cuts | | | Jammu, Sept 15: Bari Brahmana Industries Association today held meeting under the Chairmanship of Lalit Kumar Mahajan in which they criticizes government for unscheduled power cuts at SIDCO Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmana, Jammu from last three weeks.
According to press release, Members of association said that the matter has been taken up numbers of times with the concerned Officials of the Power Development Department (PDD) to know about the reasons for the unscheduled power cuts in the day time and surprisingly we got same reply every day that the Power supply is being cut on the instructions of the Chief Engineer, System Load Dispatch Centre(SLDC) from Hira Nagar.
In spite of our repeated requests and reminders to the concerned Chief Engineer no one is taking interest to resolve the issue which shows the casual attitude of Power Development Department towards the Industrial Units.
BBIA appealed Dr. Nirmal Singh, Dy. Chief Minister and Minister for PDD and Chander Parkash, Industries & Commerce Minister with a humble request to intervene into the matter and issue necessary orders to stop the unscheduled Power Cuts. |
