One held with Nag Chatri at Manda 9/15/2015 9:45:34 PM Jammu Sept 15: Police today have arrested one person along with 100 kilograms of banned medicinal herb (nagchatri) from Manda of winter capital of state. Police sources said the accused has been identified namely as Mohd Yasin S/o Ghulam Mohd R/o Kheri Banihal. As per police sources, on reliable information, police team of P/S Pacca Danga, laid a surprised Naka at Manda, Jammu intercepted one Maruti Van bearing regd no JK19-1793. "During search of the vehicle Police recovered 14 Kgs Nag Chatri (medicinal herb) which had been concealed in his car, police said, further adding, "the sale and purchase of Nag Chatri is prohibited in J&K." "Accordingly the accused was arrested by police on the spot and forest produce was seized, police said.
