| ETT Association criticizes state government | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 15: Expressing its anguish against deaf and dumb approach of state coalition government towards genuine grievances of the masses, Jammu Pvt. Schools & ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) termed it a criminal attempt towards the society.
"After a huge looting period of previous NC/Congress regimes for over twelve years, some credible faces were certainly brought forwards by PDP's Chief Minister Mufti Sayeed for the present combination but same is not the case with other extra weak partner BJP that failed to show its worth in accordance to the aspirations of its voters on all fronts including so-called priority sectors of health & education, Association observed", Association members said, according to press release,
At state level management, Mufti led coalition's valley & Ladakh part is almost uninformed or unknown whereas Jammu part is totally full of hue and cry, association alleged. Farmers including border belt is aggrieved of flood caused losses, Pak firing and the corruption based self created & ignored irrigation facilities, painful roads, power & drinking water condition can be seen as one aspect whereas worst conditions of so-called priority sectors like health and education as the other, association added. BJP's Deputy CM's and State health Lal Singh's all claims are just hollow and nothing else, it added further. A white paper on remedial steps of state govt. towards Jammu's burning issues and state health conditions can reveal the needed truth only, association added.
So far as almost eroded Education sector of the state is concerned, merely looting tactics were adopted by the outgoing NC/Cong regimes without caring its sensitivity and loss to the society as a whole, association alleged. School education, an important wing of state educational set-up was developed as big corruption hub by placement of corrupt officials in Directorates and Board of school education, it further alleged. Monitoring agency of academic standards i.e. JK-Board was treated as milky cow for corrupt ministers & bureaucrats with the result people started bending towards CBSE schooling & affiliations against heavy cost causing a degradation trend among the state Board affiliated govt. & Pvt. Schools, Association added. |
