| NPP stages protest against cow slaughter in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 15: Enraged by the brazen cow slaughter in Kashmir valley despite high court orders, Panthers Party activists today staged protest demonstration. According to press release, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP, Balwant Singh Mankotia State President JKNPP and Yashpal Kundal State president Young Panthers staged protest demonstration, amid raising slogans. Harsh Dev Singh said that brazen killings of bovines in Kashmir by certain felons defying the Hon'ble High Court's prohibitory orders are highly contemptuous and alarming besides sacrilegious to the religious faith and belief of the Hindus. Admonishing the acquiescing stand of the BJP on this sensitive issue, Harsh Dev Singh lambasted the profane proposal of the BJP leader from Kashmir Khurshid Ahmad Malik to invite Hindus and Muslims to the 'Beef party' despite a judicial ban. Yashpal Kundal condemned the Statement of the PDP President and member Parliament Mehbooba Mufti who said that the prohibitory orders by the J&K High Court would not affect the sale of beef in Kashmir and it shall continue despite the ban. |
