Jammu, Sept 15: A pilgrim of Vaishno Devi has died due to heart attack in Katra belt of Reasi district.
70-year-old Bhagwant Yadav of Uttar Pradesh died due to heart attack at Katra, the base camp of Mata Vaishno Devi, yesterday, police said he today.
The incident took place when he was on his way to the cave for paying obeisance, they said.
He was shifted to a hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead, police said, adding the body was handed over to his family members today after legal formalities. |
