Nat Manch stages Dogri play "Desh De Veera Dian Yaadan" | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 15 : Nat Manch staged a Dogri Play "Desh De Veera Dian Yaadan" here today at Shakti Nagar. With this performance, Nat Manch touched the wonder mark of 180 performances under its ongoing Tuesday series. The play was written by Rishav Salgotra and directed by Tarun Sharma. The play was based on the story of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. One day, Bhagat Singh decided not to go to school upon which his mother asked him for the reason to do so. He told his mother that the teacher of the school forces students to study in English. In the school, the teacher told students to collect their books which have been given by the British government. Bhagat Singh asked the students not to collect the books from the school because we are Indian. He told the teacher that you are our guide and Indian then how can you force students to collect books projecting the British culture. Teacher said that he has no more option for this because the books are provided by the government. Bhagat Singh stay calmed and collected the books. He went outside. He threw the books on the ground and lit fire and burn the books because he did not want the British culture to prosper in India. He did not want to bow his head before the British rulers. Those actors who performed in the play were Tarun Sharma, Rahul Kumar, Rishav Salgotra and Mohit Sharma. |
