JKLADCSA holds protest dharna throughout state, demands removal of pay anomalies | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 15: Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association (JKLADCSA) held one day protest dharna throughout the state at all district headquarters in protest against the callous attitude of the state government towards clerical cadre with regard to its demands. In Jammu city while addressing the protest dharna in front of Divisional Commissioner office, Jammu, Ravi Singh Bhau, Anil Mehta, Sukhbir Singh, Ravi Kumar, Brijesh Mehta, Yashpal Sharmaand others condemned the callous and step motherly attitude of the state government against the clerical cadre while upgrading the pay structure. They appealed the state government for removal of pay anomalies (5th Pay Commission) while granting the pay scale of Rs 4000-6000 to Junior Assistants, Rs 4500-7000 to Senior Assistants, as well as Jr Statitistical Asstts and Rs 5500-9000 to Head Assistants Statistical Asstts. Mehta warned the state government that the clerical cadre has already observed more than 120 days Pen Down Kaam Chhodo Hartal and will revive the same if anomalies/disparities of clerical cadre were not removed. While addressing the Clerical cadre Ravi Singh Bhau condemned the anti-employees and workers policies of the State Government who after reaching a numbers of agreements failed to concede the demands of the clerical cadre which is compelling them to come on the road once again. In District Headquarters at Kathua- Manohar Singh and Gulam Sabhar, Udhampur-Balbir Singh and Gurjit Singh, Reasi-Raghunath and Kuldeep Kotwal, Samba- Ajay Sharma and Veena Chowdhary, Poonch- Ravinder Singh and Gurcharan Singh, Rajouri- Babu Ram and Gurmeet Singh, Doda- Anayatullah, Amzad Hussain and Zaffar Ullah, Ramban- Vishav Bandhu and Akhtar Malik & Kishtwar- Jagdish Raj addressed the protest demonstrations. |
