POONCH, Sept 15: CEO (chief education officer), Poonch, Lal Hussain has constituted a team to look into the alleged complaint of sexual harassment lodged by a 9th class student against a school teacher.
Official sources said a 9th class student of a government higher secondary school in Poonch complained to school principal Anjum, alleging that a teacher had been sexually harassing her for the last few days.
Acting on the complaint, the principal wrote to CEO, Poonch, Lal Hussain. To probe into the matter, he constituted a probe panel of two principals, sources informed. When contacted, CEO admitted that he had received a report from the school principal regarding the allegations of sexual harassment. "I have constituted a team of two school principals to look into the allegation," he said. |
