LMD imposes fine on erring traders 9/21/2015 10:08:07 PM Early Times Report Doda, Sept 21:- An enforcement team of Legal Metrology Department Doda under the supervision of Assistant Controller Legal Metrology Doda along with inspector legal Metrology Bhaderwah conducted market inspections in Doda town and surrounding areas . During the inspection the erring traders were booked for violating provision of the J&K standards of weights & measures (Enforcement) (Amendment) Act/Rules and a fine of Rs. 4000 was imposed on erring traders. Department has directed all the traders to use only verified/ stamped weights & measures instrument for business transactions and ensure that all the package commodities sold to the consumers must bear the MRP, Packing date Net contents and consumer care number.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
