10/12/2015 10:15:04 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Oct 12: Adopting the dogma and ideology of JKNPP hundreds of people including the youth joined Panthers Party at Mansar and Dayalachak in the presence of Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP, Yashpal Kundal State President Young Panthers and other senior leaders during the separate grandeur public rallies organized by Party units of Samba and Kathua districts here on Monday.
Addressing a huge gathering at Mansar and Dayalachak where the leaders were accorded rousing reception, Harsh Dev Singh said that the BJP which had received an overwhelming mandate from the electorate during the Assembly elections, has completely failed to espouse the Jammu region based issues in the recently concluded Assembly session in Srinagar despite having 26 MLAs. He pointed out that Samba-Mansar road which had been left neglected for a long time had severely hampered the tourists in flux in the area. He exhorted the State Government to resume the work of macadamization of the aforesaid road lying in a dilapidated condition for an effective and sustainable tourism development.
Lambasting the BJP for not raking up the issues of development in the Assembly, the former Education Minister said that while the roads in all the districts of Kashmir are being black-topped steadily, the condition of the roads in the districts like Kathua are lying in a shabby condition.
Singh reiterated his demand of immediate relief and compensation to the farmers of Kathua district whose crops, livestock and homes were washed away by the last and current year's incessant rains. Vowing to fight for the rights and justice to the people, he said that NPP shall not allow subjugation of Jammu region anymore and it shall unveil all the treacherous acts done by the BJP at the cost of people's aspirations.
