CCR, Presidium election held in GDC Kathua | | | Early Times Reports
Kathua Oct 12: Election of Chief Class Representative and College Presidium was conducted today in Govt. Degree College, Kathua under the guidance of Election Committee comprising of Prof. P.K.Rao, Prof. Anirudh Sharma, Dr. Namrata Gupta and other nominees of the Committee. Shamsher Singh, Ist Class Magistrate was appointed as Observer by the District Administration to oversee the election process. After counting of votes, Vijay Bhadwal, student of Part-III was declared elected Chief Class Representative by securing 35 votes out of a total of 65 votes cast. Arun Jasrotia, Vidushi Rajput, Vishal Sharma and Puneet Kour were elected unanimously as Vice CCR (Male), Vice CCR (Female), Secretary (Male) and Secretary (Female) respectively. Principal of the College, Dr. B. L. Gupta congratulated the elected CCR and other office bearers of the presidium for their glorious win in the election. He also thanked the college staff for making this whole exercise successful. |
