YACB stages protest against privatization of electricity 10/12/2015 11:39:23 PM Early Times Report BHADEWRAH, Oct 12: Hundreds of people today held strong protest and demonstration near Takyia Chowk against alleged move of government to privatize electricity distribution for which metering and wiring work had commenced in whole Bhaderwah town. The protests were organized under the aegis of Youth Action Committee Bhaderwah led by its President Naseer Mehboob Padder to mount pressure on the government to revoke its decision of privatizing the power sector. The protesters shouted slogans against the government accusing it of putting the assets of Jammu and Kashmir on sale to meets its "filthy interests". Speaking on the occasion Naseer warned if the 'privatization' move wasn't rolled back, the agitation would be intensified further .
