| NSF protest, seeks action against Er Rashid's sacrilegious act | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 12: The members of National Secular Forum (NSF) today staged massive protest at Government Degree College, Paloura here against the beef party hosted by MLA Langate Er Rashid in the lawns of MLA Hostel in Srinagar few days ago.
They flayed the PDP-BJP coalition government for its utter failure in taming the forces that were hell bent to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the state, in general, and hurting the sentiments of Hindu community across the country by holding beef party. They squarely blamed BJP for its failure in safeguarding the sentiments of Hindu people and compromising with fundamentalist forces for the sake of enjoying power.
They demanded FIR against Er Rashid for his act and stringent police action so that no other person shall dare to host beef party in any part of the state. They also vowed to continue their agitation against the state government and Er Rashid. |
