The JCCI President expressed happiness that some action has already been taken in the case with some arrests being made by the police. He claimed that Public Safety Act (PSA) has been slapped on the people who carried out the attack. He said the people more so those involved with business and trade should not surrender before the external agencies who don't want cordial business relations between people of Jammu and Kashmir. "It is important to expose the agencies responsible for the Udhampur attack so that such things are not repeated in future. At the same time it is important that we believe each other since the mistrust would not lead us to anywhere. We have learnt a lot from 2008 situation and as such we will not allow such things to be repeated," said Gupta. The KCCI President said that the joint press conference has been organized in order to send a message to the people of state that there is no room for extremism in the state.
