Jammu, Oct 12: The SVC has ordered initiation of preliminary inquiry into the circumstances under which Tahseena Jabeen Mufti, posted as Director Finance, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department, Civil Secretariat J&K, has constructed a private residential house on State land at Sunjwan here. The Commission received a complaint from Dr Nissar Ahmad Malik and after secret verification order through vigilance organization, it was revealed that Khasra Girdawari of Sunjwan, Khasra No 20 min, 1 Kanal Gher Mumkan Wahral and 10 Marlas Gher Mumkan Rohar stands in the name of State and Mrs Tahseena Jabeen Mufti has constructed residential house on the said land and there is no revenue record to substantiate her claim on the said State land. The commission has directed for immediate and thorough enquiry to establish culpability of revenue officers and the said director which has resulted in conversion of state land for construction of a private residential house. |
