Jammu, Oct 12: Model Academy, the school of MIER in collaboration with Indian Idol Academy Jammu on Monday organised a day-long music workshop for the students at HL Gupta auditorium. According to press release, the aim of the workshop was to provide a platform for the budding talents to display their singing skills and learn about music. Around 70 students from the school wing and MIER College of Education were attended the workshop.
Sandeep Kawa, Centre Head, Indian Idol, Jammu was the resource person of the workshop. He was accompanied by Deeapk Kumar, Music composer and Ram Dass Bharti, musician. Kawa while addressing the students said reality shows are inspiring youths to take keen interest in music and have spread awareness about music and singing as a profession. |
