| PDP Labour Cell Unit calls on OC GREF | | |  Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Oct 27: People's Democratic Party Labour cell unit headed by president Wasil Doolwal along with Rashid Lone called on Officiating Commandment 118 RCC GREF Kishtwar and discussed various issues related to the Labour class working with the GREF on various roads under execution in Kishtwar District.
During the course of the meeting, PDP leaders raised various issues with the GREF officials including bonus for Labourers, pending arrears, medical facility, advance equipments, shoes and importantly distribution of warm clothes and jackets among the Labourers ahead of upcoming winter season. PDP leaders also raise the issue of widening of Kishtwar road from 0-3 KM due to which people of Kishtwar are facing lot of problems, particularly in terms of frequent jamming of vehicles.
OC GREF after giving patience hearing to the issues raised by the PDP leaders assured them that all the demands and the issues raised by them will be addressed in a time bound manner and informed them that the work on widening of road has been approved and assured them that the same will be started within shortest possible time. |
