GDC Kathua NSS unit organizes cleanliness drive 10/27/2015 11:57:26 PM early times report Kathua, oct 27: NSS Units of Govt. Degree College (Boys) Kathua started week long cleanliness drive in the college campus .The drive is a part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan initiated last year under the leadership of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi and a special initiative of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, NSS Regional Centre, New Delhi. Under this initiative, the NSS Units of the college declared the last week of October 2015 as the cleanliness week and initiated intense cleaning activities in the college starting from 25th. The week-long activities will culminate on 31.10.2015 with a massive cleanliness drive in Shri Mata Jasrota Devi Complex, which was adopted as one of the sites for cleanliness activities by NSS Units of the college last year. The drive was inaugurated by the worthy Principal of the college, Dr. B.L. Gupta in presence of NSS Volunteers and NSS Programme Officers Dr. Ram Singh, Dr. Rachna and Dr. Suraya Partap Singh.
