REASI, Oct 27: Vicky Wazir won title trophy in the maiden District Reasi Chess Tournament which was organised by District Association under the aegis of All J&K Chess Association at Government Higher Secondary School Katra.
First place in junior boys' category went to Pranav Kohli. Luckey Rajput and Shiva Proach secured second and third place respectively. In girls' category, Lavanya Rajput clinched the title trophy.
In all, around 50 young boys and girls took part in this competition which was officiated by Rajinder Singh, Vishal Kapoor, Sumit Grover and Arvindu Sharma.
In the prize distribution function, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Katra, Anil Kumar Chandel was chief guest while SP Katra, Sumir Kotwal was guest of honour. |
