Udhampur, Oct 27 : The NSS Units of Government College for Women Udhampur organised a blood donation camp today under the blood donation campaign (a month long activity) to promote safe blood donation.
Prof. KS Koushal, Principal GCW Udhampur, Dr. Chander Parkash, chief medical officer Udhampur, and Dr. Narinder Bhatial, superintendent District Hospital Udhampur were present on the occasion. The camp was organised by Dr. Mool Raj and Prof. Swarna Bhougal NSS Programme officers GCW Udhampur. While, Dr. Narinder Bhatial Addressed the NSS Volunteers and he exhorted upon the medico-social significances of blood donation. He appreciated the Volunteers to come out for such a noble cause and inspire others to donate blood. Prof. K. S. Koushal, Principal GCW udhampur also admired the volunteers for their extraordinary move for the cause. He also congratulated the programme officers to have organised such a socially relevant activity. In the camp, fifteen NSS volunteers donated their blood included Diksha, Pinki, Mamta Thakur ,Pooja Devi, Soloni Rajput, Meena, Shivaya, Seema, Manika Sharma, Simran, Osheen, Kanisha, Swarna Bhougal (P.O) were among the blood donors. |
