| Burn victim succumbs at GMCH | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 5: A 20 year-old girl who sustained critical burn injuries under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Rajouri on Wednesday and was undergoing treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) today succumbed to her injuries.
Police sources have identified the deceased as Sabiya Sharma daughter of Yashpal of Rajouri.
They said that the girl received burn under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Rajouri and after preliminary treatment at District Hospital (DH) Rajouri she was referred to Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for specialized treatment for critical burns.
"During her treatment she failed to respond the treatment here today, sources said and added that after completion of legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case in this connection already stands registered at concerned police station and further investigations are on. |
