| Medical camp organised at Iron Rush Fitness Club | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 10: A free medical camp was today organised by Iron rush- a fitness club in Greater Kailash to screen the members.
Dr S K Bali, Professor and Head, Deptt of Nephrology Super Specialty Hospital (SSH) Jammu and Dr Surinder Sodhi, Senior Resident Deptt of Nephrology were among experts who rendered their missionary services to the patients who visited to the camp.
The experts examined the patients and also got blood sugar and Body Mass Index (BMI) tests conducted.
The camp concluded with a lecture by Dr SK Bali on health life, who emphasizes the importance of physical fitness in day to day life. Dr bali also stressed the usage of balanced diet and regular body checkup for a better healthy life. He emphasized that the most common cause of hypertension and other disorders is lazy life style and exhorted gathering to do go for daily exercises which act as excellent stress buster.
The members of the club expressed their gratitude to visiting experts and said that they are highly benefitted from this event and appreciate the efforts put by the club management towards their health.
In the end the club management presented mementos to visiting experts as a token of love and respect. |
