NHM Employees seek Governor’s intervention, demand regularization | | | Early Times Report Doda, Feb 10: Hailing the move of Governor NN Vohra for making regularization policy of daily wagers and those engaged on contractual basis, Spokesperson NHM Employees Association Jammu Division Faizan Ali Tramboo has expressed gratitude to Governor N N Vohra and hailed his decision. In a press statement, Tramboo said that around 8000 NHM Employees including Doctors, Paramedics and Management Staff working under different schemes of NHM are working in the Jammu and Kashmir but so far no regularization policy has been framed by the previous Governments to secure their future. He said that NHM scheme was launched in 2006 in J&K and since then employees working under it are still non-permanent besides most of the NHM Employees have crossed the age of upper limit. Further he added that, last year in June, the then MD NHM has made an representation of draft policy for regularization of all NHM Employees and same was submitted to Commissioner Secretary Health for futher course of action but still no concrete step in this regard has been taken. He urged upon the Governor N N Vohra and Advisor to Health Department Parveez Dewan to look in to matter personally and make a draft policy of regularization on the anology of those contractuals and daily wagers who would be regularized by March 01, 2016. |
