Police reunites wandering child with family 2/10/2016 11:49:59 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Feb 10: A child has been reunited with a family member after being found wandering alone in Ramnagar Town of Udhampur district. Police sources said information was received at Police Station Ramnagar that one child in the age group of 8/9 years was found wandering alone in Ramnagar Town on Tuesday. The matter was brought into the knowledge of PSI Shafiq Ahmed who with a view to save the child from falling in bad hands rushed the police team to the spot. "The child was not able to tell his whereabouts, police sources said, further adding, "on the directions of SDPO Ramnagar Abhisheik Sharma, a polite and homely interaction was conducted to interact with the child and the n he revealed his whereabouts." "The boy was identified namely as Ajay Kumar s/o Prem Nath r/o Thaplal, accordingly the family of child was informed, sources said . After completion of codal formalities the child was handed over to his parents and police reunited a separated child with his family.
