Ten day Sanskrit Camp concludes | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Feb 10 : A ten day long Sanskrit Camp for basic knowledge organized by Sanskrit Bharati at Kamal Academy High School, concluded, here today. On the conclusion day Sanskrit Bharati North Zone Secretary Partap Singh was the chief guest on the occasion whereas J&K incharge Dalip ChanderVanshi, chairman of the school Dharam Chand, school principal Abdul Khaliq and Desh Raj also presided over the function besides staff member. Around 50 students and other citizens across the Ramban district and other connected districts participated in this ten day camp. While elaborating about the details of the program, Partap Singh informed that the Sanskrit is an ancient language which makes us a good human being. "In ancient time people used to talk in this language and it shows the real picture of Indian culture and traditions" he added. He advised the participants to learn Sanskrit language and does not keep it to themselves but also teach to others. While speaking on the occasion, chairman of the school said Sanskrit is not only the oldest language of religious scripts of Indian faiths and tradition but it is also a scientific language and thanked the resource person for devoting their precious time in teaching Sanskrit language. In the course, the participating candidates have been taught knowledge of 'Shlokas'. |
