Jammu, Feb 12 : Two days pravesh training camp of Bharat scouts & Guides today concluded at JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School Talab Tillo here today.
More than 50 students participated in the camp and were trained by experts of scouts and Guides including ID Soni state commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides, Manjeet Kour - Guide caption, Harcharan Singh- Scout Master, KL Sharma - scout master and Navjot Kour Guide caption.
During the camp, students were also awarded about the history of moment, Promise and Law, motto, salute, Prayers, National flag, welcome songs, left hand shakes and others.
During the concluding ceremony, ID Soni was the chief guest while Managing director Sanjeev Gupta, Director Academics Rajni Gupta Presided over the function.
The chief guest in his address highlighted the aim of Bharat scouts and Guides and the aim of Bharat scouts and Guides and stressed on the moral and ethical contents. Scouting is a universally acknowledged non formal system of education and should be given due importance, he added.
A colorful cultural programme by the scouts and Guides mesmerized the audiences on the occasion. Earlier, Geeta Dixit vice principal of school welcomed the guests and highlighted the various activities held during the camp. |
