| ‘Advisory Boards’ VCs, others should resign immediately' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb12: With the directions from the Raj Bhawan for all political appointees to submit their resignations, morality demands that all persons who were appointed on political grounds should submit their papers. When there is no political government in the state there is on logic of political appointees to continue on their respective posts. Morality demands that all vice chairpersons of different advisory boards and other political appointees should submit their resignation with wasting any time.
More responsibility is on BJP, which claim as party with the difference, to ask all its leaders, who have been enjoying perks and other benefits of the government to submit their resignation. Everyday government is spending thousands of rupees on these political appointees so it is in the interest of the state get these appointees sacked if they are not ready to follow morality.
From BJP quota there is vice chairman of Pahari Speaking Advisory Board, Kissan Advisory Board and Social Welfare Advisory Board. From PDP side party leaders are enjoying perks as Gujjar-Bakerwal Advisory Board, Scheduled Caste Advisory Board and chairperson of Women Commission.
Raj Bhawan has given clear instructions to these political appointees to follow morality and submit their papers but they seem to be not ready to resign. They are sticked to chairs to enjoy all perks and privileges which have been provided to them by the Government. |
